Children's Ministries

Current activities are mostly on hold for groups larger than 10 people. Please contract our Family Ministry Team below if you have questions or want to get involved.

Children’s Ministry at Trinity focuses on helping families nurture children in the faith. Children can learn Bible stories and life applications through Sunday School, Kindling Kid’s Activities, summer events, seasonal prayer calendars, and other activities.

Sunday Mornings

CHILDREN’S SUNDAY SCHOOL MEETS FROM 10:10-11:00 am (Sept.-may)

nursery care

Childcare is available for infants – age 4 in the Nursery (Room 106) from 8:45 – 12:30 on Sunday mornings.

Grades Pre-k - 4

Preschoolers through 4th graders explore families of the Bible and their relationship with God using Cokesbury's Deep Blue Cirriculum called "Loving God, Loving Neighbor."
Grades K-4 meets in Rooms 108-109
Preschool meets in the Childcare Room

Grades 5 - 8

5th through 8th graders venture through the Sparkhouse 'Ancestors' series which "uses humor to learn about the heroes, villains and everyday folks that God selected to do extraordinary things."
Meets in the Youth Room

Kindling Kid Activities

During the Kindling Worship service (11:15 am), activities are provided to help children connect with the worship theme. Following the opening songs and scripture reading, children can participate in the children’s chat then go into an adjacent area where they can do crafts and activities while listening to the remainder of the worship service. Activities are designed to encourage family conversation at home.

Summer schedules offer non-traditional opportunities for children to engage in faith-based activities. Past offerings have included Camp Create, Flat Jesus, Family Fun nights, and Back-to-School Bashes. Watch this webpage for summer 2020 plans.
